Dosthill Colts 1, Stourport Swifts 0

Stourport crashed out of the FA Cup after a narrow defeat at Midland Combination side Dosthill.

The teams were involved in a six-goal thriller at Walshes Meadow but an early Roy Dunkley strike was all the cup minnows needed to set-up a clash with Oadby Town in the next round.

The striker, whose last gasp equaliser forced the replay, calmly fired home on 14 minutes and it was left to Rich Colwell’s side to search for an equaliser.

Louis Pountney led the first period response but he put his shot wide following a scramble inside the box.

Pountney also saw a first half goal disallowed for impeding the Dosthill keeper.

The second half once again saw Stourport dominate proceedings but again the equaliser proved elusive.

John Griffin went through in a one-on-one with Colts man-of-the-match keeper Paul Hathaway but the Dosthill man again came out on top.

Callum Martin also produced a late threat for the Swifts but his shot was blocked on the line to bring Stourport’s cup run to a premature end.
