PREPARATIONS are continuing for Kidderminster Harriers as the club look forward to their highly anticipated FA Cup second-round clash with FC Halifax Town this Sunday (4pm kick-off).

Aggborough Stadium has been a buzz of excitement since the draw was made as three extra TV gantries have been erected and a grand total of ten television screens are in place to capture the clash for Match of the Day's extended highlights programme.

The two sides know that there is a chance of a place in the third round and the prospect of being drawn against a Premier League outfit, who enter the competition at this stage.

Here are the numbers for the third round draw, which will take place at 7pm on Monday 6th December.

It'll be broadcast on ITV4 as part of their coverage of Boreham Wood v St Albans City.

The winner will also pocket £34,000 in prize money, further adding to the importance of progressing.

Harriers could not come into the clash with Halifax, who are a league above in the National League, in any better form.

Kidderminster won all five of their games in November, scoring 14 goals and conceding just three which has seen them rise to fourth position in the National League North.

They also enjoyed that FA Trophy penalty shootout win against Hereford FC in the second round so can they make it into the third round of the FA Cup as well?

But just like the Harriers, Halifax are also in fine fettle. The Shaymen are pushing for promotion to the Football League and are flying high in third place, just three points behind league leaders Grimsby Town - who Harriers knocked out in the first round to reach this stage.

The club have confirmed that tickets are now limited in both the north and east stand, with the main stand sold out.

It is set to be a huge afternoon for the Worcestershire club, so if you can, get down to Aggborough to support the Reds.
