DEAN Sturridge is still waiting to open his Kidderminster account after spurning a hat-trick of chances in Saturday's bore draw at Halesowen Town.

Harriers were given a good workout against the Southern League Premier Division outfit who had chances of their own to win the game.

Scott Bevan produced a good save to beat away Scott Dowdall's shot early on while Matt Lewis wasted a great second half opportunity when he took too long trying to round the keeper.

But substitute Sturridge was Kidderminster's chief culprit with the worst of his three misses coming when he somehow hit Andy White's clever cutback against the bar from two yards out.

Scott Eaton hasd earlier missed an easy opportunity after being set up by Blackwood, while Stuart Whitehead headed over from a corner when he should have scored.
