HARRIERS were given a lesson in passing and moving during their heavy defeat to Championship Coventry.

They took a 10th minute lead against Micky Adams' side when Michael Blackwood showed close control to capitalise on a mistake by Elliott Ward and stab the ball in from a tight angle.

But that merely sparked Coventry into life and they recovered quickly to outclass Kidderminster and take a 3-1 half-time lead.

Faygal El Idrissi grabbed a 24th minute equaliser with a low strike which crept past Steve Taylor after striking the post.

Matthew Heath's glancing header from a 33rd minute corner put the Sky Blues in front and Dele Adebola made it three on the stroke of half-time after good work by Stern John.

Goals four and five came on 63 and 85 minutes when Adebola powered in a Marcus Hall cross and John calmly crafted a tap-in for Moussa N'Diaye.

Despite the heavy scoreline, Harriers did well in patches against a strong Coventry side, although Yates admitted that the game had highlighted areas that needed to be worked on.
