WARRIORS.

6 Pennell – an off-day for the full-back who landed two of his three kicks at goal but was guilty of making a few mistakes and conceding a couple of turnovers.

7 Humphreys – coming in for the injured Heem the wing put his injury-hit start to the season behind him with a strong performance as he caused Exeter problems when he got hold of the ball.

6 Beck – making his first start of the campaign the centre was solid but not spectacular, making one break in the second half moments before Hill’s try.

5 Mills – tried to make things happen but his execution was erratic with some poor kicks out of hand and missed far too many tackles.

6 Adams – after suffering an injury the wing’s efforts to stay on for a period backfired as his badly sliced kick put Warriors under pressure and Yeandle soon scored from a lineout drive.

6 Lance – replacing Weir in the starting line-up the Aussie fly-half was keen to impress and did some good things, wriggling away from some tacklers, but struggled in defence.

7 Hougaard – embodied Warriors’ doggedness as he attacked with intent, putting in a decent shift on the wing, and produced a superb last-ditch tackle to deny Devoto a try.

5 Black – another disappointing day at the office for the loosehead prop who was pinged several times in the scrum before being hauled off at half-time.

6 Singleton – showed tenacity in defence, doing well to hold up the ball-carrier on a couple of occasions to secure turnovers but also missed four tackles.

6 Milasinovich – stepping in for the injured Schonert the tighthead prop had a tough afternoon in the scrum as he was also replaced at the break but arguably did better than his replacement, Kerrod.

6 Bresler – put in a monster tackle on Whitten in the opening 15 minutes and was a presence in the lineout but struggled to break the gain-line.

6 Barry – a mixed bag from the lock who halted Devoto with a fine tackle that dislodged the ball but failed to stop Ewers powering over for his first try.

7 T HILL – after his heroics last weekend the 19-year-old was handed his first start and he did not disappoint as he coped with the physicality of the match and scored his third try in two games. My man of the match.

7 Mama – another Warriors player who showed grit and determination throughout as he dug in defensively and made many metres.

6 Van Velze – had less of an impact than his back row colleagues and missed one too many tackles before being replaced by Cox who injected some energy.
