WORCESTER Warriors have been boosted by the availability of fly-half Duncan Weir for Saturday’s trip to Bath in the Gallagher Premiership (12.45pm).
Scotland have released Weir back to Worcester after he was not named in the 23-man squad to face South Africa at Murrayfield this weekend.
The 27-year-old has been training with the national team this week but faces stiff competition from Finn Russell and Adam Hastings for the number 10 shirt.
With Jono Lance nursing a back injury, the return of Weir will be welcome news for director of rugby Alan Solomons.
Glasgow-born Weir has scored four tries in seven appearances for Worcester this season and his accuracy from the tee has been key to their impressive form.
