SALE Sharks' director of rugby Alex Sanderson insists Worcester Warriors are "an easy team to underestimate" ahead of the two meeting today at Sixways (3pm kick-off).
Sharks travel to Sixways looking to consolidate their place in the play-off positions whilst Warriors will be aiming to end a 13-match losing streak in the Premiership.
Sanderson insists his side are not taking this game lightly and will give Warriors respect.
"Worcester are a really easy team to underestimate, aren't they?" said Sanderson.
"12th in the league and everyone probably thinks you can go down there are roll them over but it's not the case, it's just not.
"They always start out strong, they always start out physical.
"They have some big ball carriers in Matt Kvesic, Ted Hill, Ollie Lawrence and Francois Venter is another one so they have some real good ball carriers there.
"They have a good front-row scrum as well with Nick Schonert and Ethan Waller.
"In any one area, if you think, right, we've got them here, we've got them there and it's going to be easy, you will get embarrassed.
"So it's giving them the respect first and foremost. I guess that's the answer, that's the short of it!" (Source: Sale Sharks Twitter).
