POLICE have alerted residents after suspicious activity was reported on a Kidderminster cul-de-sac.

On West Mercia Police's Neighbourhood Matters website, PCSO Alice Owen-Jones said three males were seen pointing at vehicles on driveways on Holmcroft Road.

The suspicious activity occurred around 10pm on Thursday (February 16).

In the early hours of Sunday (February 19), a small dark-coloured car, with at least two occupants was being driven around the cul-de-sac.

The same car is believed to have revisited the road later at 10am. It has been described as a blue fiesta car with black alloys.

The officers added that there were reports of door handles being on Holmcroft Road during the early hours of Monday, February 13.

In nearby Barnetts Close, a vehicle was unlocked and entered on a driveway overnight on the weekend, with the unknown person rummaging around inside.

Police have urged people to be vigilant and follow a number of crime prevention measures.

These include ensuring that all the windows and doors to your home are kept locked with keys removed, installing a high-quality intruder alarm, installing an exterior security light to both the front and rear of your premises, and fitting a high-quality alarm to vehicles.
