A LUDLOW lawyer has completed a gruelling charity cycle challenge in aid of a popular cancer charity.
Richard Connolly, a partner and residential property expert at Corve Street-based law firm mfg Solicitors, rode almost 66 miles as part of the recent Ludlow Cycling Festival.
The 62-year-old cycling enthusiast completed the event in six hours and nine minutes and raised £680 for Macmillan Cancer Support thanks to sponsorship from friends and colleagues.
The festival this year was also co-sponsored by mfg Solicitors.
Mr Connolly, who has completed numerous sponsored cycle events for charity, said he was pleased by his ride time.
“It went very well for a man of my age,” he said.
“I’m 62 years old but I don’t see that as any reason not to get on my bike.
