A BRAND new Mercedes worth £30,000 was stolen during a burglary in Clent.

The black Mercedes C220 estate, registration GY13 MVL, was in a secure garage in Bromsgrove Road when it was taken between 9.30pm on Saturday July 6 and 10am on Sunday July 7.

The garage doors had been forced and the keys to the vehicle stolen, along with the vehicle itself - which was only about three weeks old.

An Apple iPhone was also taken during the raid.

PC Matt Brittain, of West Mercia Police, said: “The car was stolen from a rural area and we would like to hear from anyone who saw anything unusual or suspicious before the offence happened, or anyone who saw this vehicle being driven away or knows where it is now.”
