The Kidderminster Shuttle was launched on February 12, 1870.
It is the leading weekly newspaper for the Wyre Forest district which includes the towns of Kidderminster, Stourport and Bewdley.

The newspaper, which has a weekly verified distribution of 37,515, is a campaigning newspaper which prides itself on working closely with its community.

It has run a large number of successful reader appeals including a £140,000 campaign to rebuild a young people's activity centre in 2007.

It's current appeal in conjunction with the district's League of Friends aims to raise £150,000 to modernise and extend the Millbrook Suite - a cancer treatment unit at Kidderminster Hospital. The appeal was launched in February and passed the £100,000 in seventh months.
