AMBULANCE services said nothing could be done to save a teenager from Redditch, who died following a cardiac arrest.
A member of the public found the teenager in Kitebrook Close in the Winyates area of Redditch on Wednesday morning (July 4).
Police attended around 7am along with paramedics and a male believed to be 18 was found and confirmed deceased.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: "We received a call from the police shortly before 7am yesterday to reports of a patient in cardiac arrest.
"Two ambulances and a paramedic officer attended to find a male in cardiac arrest.
"Sadly, nothing could be done to save the patient and he was confirmed dead on scene."
A police spokesman said that the death is not being treated as suspicious and next of kin have been informed.
