WORCESTER Wolves recorded an eighth consecutive home victory in the British Basketball League with an 89-73 triumph against Durham Wildcats tonight.
Captain Alex Owumi top-scored for the hosts at the University Arena with seven three-pointers in a 25-point haul.
Robertas Bitinas also hit all his 18 points from the three-point line, while Chavis Holmes scored 13.
Wolves led 29-20 at the end of the first quarter and increased their advantage to 55-36 at half-time.
The margin remained at 19 points heading into the fourth quarter and, although Durham edged the final period, Wolves ran out comfortable winners.
David Buchberger scored 25 points, including seven three-pointers for a Durham side who only had six players available due to suspension.
