POWICK Kathleen Muriel Of Lower Street, Cleobury Mortimer. Mr. Brian Powick, Teresa, Claire and Paul, Justine and Andrew and the family of the late Mrs Muriel Powick wish to express their sincere thanks to all relatives, friends, neighbours and wider members of 'The Church Community' for the cards, letters, Mass cards and other kind messages of sympathy, love and prayers received at this very sad and most difficult time, for the attendance at her Funeral Mass of so many of you and for your generous donations to 'The Severn Hospice (Shrewsbury)' totalling £300.00 to date. Your wonderful support has been greatly appreciated by us all. We extend our special thanks to her Doctors and to the Staff on The Millbrook Suite at Kidderminster Hospital for all your efforts on Muriel's behalf; to the Doctors and all Staff at 'The Severn Hospice' at Shrewsbury for your wonderful care of and kindness to Muriel, and to the family, throughout her stay with you and for the tremendous dignity afforded to her in the closing hours of her life; to 'The Flower Shop' at Bridgnorth for the beautiful floral tributes; to all who shared their memories of Muriel with us for inclusion in the ceremony, and, particularly, to Justine for your very warm, witty and moving personal contribution to the occasion; to the organist, Mrs. Judy Reid, soloist, Mrs. Kerry Preen and to all at The R.C Church of St. Elizabeth, Cleobury Mortimer, for all that was done for us to make the occasion run so smoothly; and to Celebrant, Father Edmund Montgomery, for coming from Shrewsbury to lead us in a most uplifting celebration of the life of Muriel Powick, and for supporting us as we said goodbye to her, with our love and our thanks. Thank you also to all at Cleobury Mortimer Golf Club for your warm hospitality, for the excellent post-funeral reception catering and for looking after everyone so well afterwards, and to Chris Adams and the team at Perry and Phillips for their kindness, guidance and support at this difficult time God Bless you all.
