Marketing agency TTMA has become the latest business to open up at the new Hepworth Park complex in Redditch.

It means all units there are either let or under offer.

Hepworth Park, a speculative scheme of seven 1,600 sq ft units snapped up before the development was even finished, setting rental records, showed a clear evidence of the level of demand, said Ian Parker, a director of property agents John Truslove, who have been handling the lettings.
The firm has previously warned that Redditch is suffering a severe shortage of small and medium sized industrial stock, which has started to cause the town to lose business and needs to be addressed immediately.
TTMA required new premises having had to vacate a building, soon to be demolished, which it rented in the grounds of Studley Castle – the castle dates back to 1833 and was once defunct car maker Rover’s conference and training centre – that is being transformed by owners the Firoka Group into a Warner Leisure Hotel.

Phill Rhodes, TTMA managing director, said they had chosen Hepworth Park because landlords Fox Industrial Services had agreed to build offices to the company’s specifications and provide associated warehousing in which to store promotional material.

It has taken 1,678 sq ft on a five year lease. Ashley Gurr, partner at Redditch law firm Kerwoods provided legal advice.

TTMA offers direct marketing, direct mailing, campaign management, database design and management plus merchandise and literature fulfilment.

Main clients are buildings materials group Tarmac, Rexel, a manufacturer and distributor of electrical and datacomm components, motor parts group Parts Alliance, and Carpet & Flooring, one of the UK's largest flooring distributors.

Phill Rhodes said: “We are a small but dedicated team of knowledgeable and experienced professionals offering bespoke solutions to deliver measurable results.

“It is about creating, developing and keeping customers through effective direct marketing.”

Ian Parker said: “TTMA are a quality operator and a good catch for Redditch.

“But if we don’t quickly identify other sites to develop then businesses will go elsewhere.”

Hepworth Park is on Brook Street in the Lakeside area of the town.
