TRYING her hand at becoming an escape artist, the Mayor of Kidderminster, Councillor Rose Bishop was strapped into a straitjacket ahead of a magic performance taking place at this year's Kidderminster Arts Festival.
For what is set to be one of the most riveting shows of the arts festival, which runs from August 8 to 23, on Friday, August 21, Kidderminster Town Hall will be alive with awe as Magic LIVE lights up the venue.
The family-friendly show, which will be filled with fun, laughter, and excitement, as well as magic, was developed by Eugene Matthias President of The Magic Club of Great Britain as a touring variety programme bringing live entertainment to villages and local communities.
Eugene plays host to the show with special guest entertainers. Appearing in this year's show will be local Kidderminster magician, mentalist and psychic entertainer, Jay Adkins, winner of the British Magical Society parlour magician of the year award together with international escape artist RODAN.
Tickets are available from kidderminsterartsfestival.org.uk at £5 each.
