MOUTH and Music spoken word and acoustic music night will kick off the new year by celebrating its fourth birthday.

The event on Tuesday (January 12) will also pay tribute to its award-winning venue, the Boars Head, in Worcester Street.

The night will feature Sarah Tamar, a poet with ‘great presence and persuasive’ perspicacity’ and the biting, observational acoustic wit of singer/songwriter the Humdrum Express.

Open mic slots can be booked from 7pm, for a 7.30pm start.

Tickets are £3.
