LONG-running family panto group, Areley Kings Players, will bring their latest show "Pandemonium in Pantloland" to the district over the next two weekends.

"Pandemonium in Pantoland" - a combination of Red Riding Hood, Jack in the Beanstalk and Cinderella - has been written by Len Slack, one of AKP's own members.

Co-directors, Reg Knott and Don Fossey, said: "It's a fun-packed adventure, featuring many classic favourite panto characters.

"We are delighted to have new adult and junior actors treading the boards with us this year."

The group has made donations of more than £4,500 since its February 2015 pantomime. Donations made included to Areley Kings Village Hall, Areley Kings Friendship Club, Dial-a-Ride and Forest Dog Rescue.

Jenny Knott, chairperson of AKP, said: "The panto is a fabulous opportunity for all our performers, who range in age from six to well, a little older, to come together and entertain people from the local area.

"We are delighted with the amount we were able to distribute and we hope that people will come to see our February 2016 show so that we may continue with this success."

"Pandemonium in Pantoland" can be seen at Areley Kings Village Hall at 7.30pm on Saturday, February 19, Sunday, February 20, Friday, February 26, and Saturday, February 27.

Matinee shows will also be available at 2.30pm on February 20 and 27.

Tickets are £8 for adults and £6 for concessions.

Tickets can be purchased by calling Marjan on 01299 871804 or Jenny on 07856 210506, or by emailing tickets@akplayers.co.uk.
