STEVIE Jones and the Wildfires will be coming to the Boar's Head, in Kidderminster, this weekend.

The concert takes place on Saturday (November 19) at the Boar's Head, in Worcester Street, from 7pm.

There will also be support from the Flying Ant Day and Teddy Matthews.

Stevie Jones and the Wildfires belong to Northamptonshire and have carved out a collection of down to earth, infectious self-penned songs.

Stratigraphic Heart is their debut album recorded at Parlour Studios, with acclaimed producers Neil Haynes and Russ Russell and features an array of guests including New Model Army's lead guitarist Marshall Gill.

The band consists of Stevie Jones on guitar and vocals, Vassilis Damitriadis on guitar, Lou Short on bass and Jake Patrick on drums.

Tickets for the gig at the Boar's Head cost £4 on the door.
