See Sigourney Weaver film cameo scene for Doc Martin
Alien star Sigourney Weaver has filmed an unlikely cameo in West Country sitcom Doc Martin.
Footage online shows the Hollywood actress sharing a scene with the show’s star Martin Clunes.
She joined the crew of the hit ITV show in Port Isaac, Cornwall, last week.
An ITV spokeswoman confirmed her appearance but refused to comment on her role.
Oscar-nominated Sigourney, who shot to fame playing Ripley in science fiction classic Alien, has appeared in hit films including Ghostbusters and Gorillas In The Mist.
