Maisie Williams has revealed she wants a screen farewell to top all other deaths, if she gets killed off in Game Of Thrones.

The actress, who plays Arya Stark in the fantasy series, said if she was ever written out, she would want to exit in style.

“I hope she gets revenge, doesn’t die, but if she does die, it’d better be really epic and be in the top 10 deaths because there’s a lot to compete with. So if it’s not a good death, I’ll be disappointed,” she said about her character’s future.

Maisie, who stars in psychological drama The Falling, want to top Viserys Targaryen’s (Harry Lloyd) death, which she considers to be the best screen death on Game Of Thrones to date.

“I think when Viscerys got that gold crown poured on his head, that was sick. So mine would be up there with the deaths that people think are disgusting but also, they think is really cool,” she added.

The fifth series of the show sees some big changes for Arya.

“She’s heading across the narrow sea to Braavos, which was exciting,” Maisie revealed.

“I was with all new people, new places, new costumes, new hair and it was a great year. I enjoyed filming it and I just hope the audience enjoy watching it as much as I enjoyed doing it.”

The 18-year-old actress said she watches the show with her family, despite its bloodthirsty and sexual content.

“I watched it as I went along, so when I finished season one, I watched that with my mum and stepdad. It was very embarrassing with all the nudity and stuff, but I’ve watched it since the beginning,” she said.

“The nudity – well, everyone’s got a body – and then the violence, my character was a part of a lot of it, so it wasn’t like (I was) watching something really scary. It was more fascinating to see how it was cut altogether and edited for the effects. That side of it was just really interesting.”

The Falling is in cinemas now, while Game Of Thrones continues on Sky Atlantic.
