KIDDERMINSTER students will be ruffling up their feathers to perform a the tale of the ugly duckling.
King Charles I School performing arts department will be taking on Honk! a musical adaptation of the famous Hans Christian Andersen story.
The musical is set in the countryside and tells the story of Ugly, a cygnet who mistakenly identified as a duckling and is rejected from everyone except his mother Ida.
Head of drama Katie Warrington said “Every Tuesday and Friday since October, a dedicated brood of and talented students have been rehearsing to learn feather ruffling dance routines and musical numbers in preparation for opening night."
Honk! will run for four nights from Tuesday, February 4 to Friday, February 7.
