AN OPEN-AIR production of Shakespeare's Hamlet will be taking place in the ground of the Bishops Wood Centre, Stourport next week.

Folksy Theatre will be performing their production of The Tragedy of Hamlet, Prince of Denmark on Thursday, July 23.

Audiences joining the Prince of Denmark as he battles his inner demons and seeks to avenge his late father may know the classic story but not in the Folksy style. Filled with live folk music and colourful characters, in an apt Victorian setting – it's Hamlet as you've never seen it before.

Theatregoers are welcomed to bring along picnics, blankets and folding chairs to enjoy the show, which starts at 7pm, with the gates opening from 6pm.

Ticket are priced from £8 for children and concessions, £12 for adults, and £35 for families (two adults and two children under the age of 16). They can be booked by visiting folksytheatre.co.uk/Upcoming_Productions.html or by contacting the Bishops Wood Centre by calling 01299 250513.
