GOING full on glitz fir their annual show, the Carpet Trades Musical Theatre Company (CTMTC) will dazzle audiences with Barry Manilow's Copacabana.

At the Rose Theatre, in Kidderminster, the cast, which includes the glamorous Copa girls (pictured) will bring the Grammy Award-winning song to life on a local stage.

After starting life written for a TV movie, the show became a hit in London’s West End, enjoyed numerous UK tours, and became one of the very first jukebox musicals.

With an original story based around Manilow songs, CTMTC will show Wyre Forest audiences what a real night on the Havana club scene was really like - filled with fun, action, feathers, and sequins.

The infamous story of Tony (played by Julian Richards) and Lola the show girl (Kathryn Painter) is one that audiences of all ages will connect with.

Directed by Doug Forrester in his new role of main show director, this colourful spectacle will run from Thursday to Saturday October 15 to 24, including two matinees.
