A STAGE production of the award-winning comedy ‘Jeeves and Wooster in Perfect Nonsense’ is heading to Kidderminster for shows across September.

The Nonentities Society are bringing the ticklingly funny Olivier Award-winning West End comedy to the Rose Theatre from Monday, September 12 to Saturday 17.

Viewers will be thrown into the chaotic world of bachelor Bertie Wooster, who must run a one-man show when a country house weekend takes a turn for the worse.

He must first play matchmaker between his host's drippy daughter Madeline Bassett and schoolmate Gussie Fink-Nottle.

If Bertie, ably assisted by the ever brilliant and dependable Jeeves, can't repair the couple's relationship, he'll be forced to marry the girl himself – yet his troubles don’t end there.

Aunt Dahlia is demanding that Bertie steals a silver cow creamer from Totleigh Towers, while Stiffy Byng is blackmailing him to pinch a policeman's helmet and get punched on the nose.

With events spiralling out of control, he must also stay one step ahead of the growing menace of Roderick Spode, who wants to beat him to a jelly.

This high-energy, delightfully bonkers stage adaptation of P.G. Wodehouse's 'The Code of the Woosters' will brings heaps of hilarity and plethora of playful nostalgia.
