Firefighters tackling recycling centre fire
THIS is the scene of firefighters tackling the blaze at Lawrence Recycling centre.
A total of 15 fire crews were in attendence at the height of the fire at the plant, in Stourport Road, after being called at 10.50am.
The fire involved paper and plastic materials being stored ready for recycling in a large warehouse at the site and is currently under control.
Firefighters are still at the scene damping down and turning over the waste material.
