Sandra Weidrick, from Someone’s Art, won the Dragons’ Den Xpressions fund last year.
She has been working with local school children to explore games played in the past, redesigning them and bringing them into the present. You can see their work, free of charge, on August 10 and 12 when the Corn Exchange at Kidderminster Town Hall becomes a vintage tea room with strolling performers and tea and cakes.
The Dragons’ Den Xpression Grant Scheme is running again during KAF.
Anyone can apply for a £1,500 grant to make their art project a reality for next year’s KAF. Candidates need to present their ideas to a small panel on Tuesday, August 13. To book a slot email arts@wyreforestdc. gov.uk or call arts development on 01562 732928. The fund is generously donated by the Wyre Forest Leisure Grants Scheme in partnership with KAF.
