PARENTS will be able to take their children to a series of free pet workshops in Kidderminster this summer.
Pets at Home in Kidderminster is hosting a Kids’ Holiday Pet Club, a series of free pet workshops providing children with the opportunity to find out more information about all of the pets in store.
Furry Friends’ workshops will focus on small animals, such as rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, rats and gerbils, where youngsters will be allowed to interact with the pets, while finding out how to be responsible owners.
Scales and Fins will teach children about fish, reptiles and wildlife.
Pets at Home team members will be on hand to provide advice and help with the animals.
All children who complete the workshops will go home with a certificate and an activity book with in-store trails, puzzles, stickers and other activities, all free of charge.
