A CHURCH and a school in Stottesdon have joined forces to put on a summer fete.
The community extravaganza will take place on Friday, starting at 6pm. It has been organised by Stottesdon CE Primary School and St Mary’s Church and will be held in the school’s playing fields.
Attractions will include a bar, ice cream, wood-fired pizzas, tombola, raffle, a produce tent, plant sale and a barbecue.
Friends of Stottesdon Primary School chairman, Caroline Williamson, said "Summer fetes are a lovely way to mingle with other families, have fun and raise some much-needed funds for the local community.
“This year, by joining forces with St.Mary's Church, we are hoping to involve the whole neighbourhood.”
