KIDDERMINSTER residents are being encouraged to capture the spirit of their community by taking part in a photographic competition.
Those who live, work or volunteer in the Big Local DY10 area, which encompasses Greenhill, Broadwaters and Horsefair, can submit their entries by Friday.
The photos can be taken on a camera or mobile phone and the winning entries will be mounted to form a mobile exhibition of the “spirit of the Big Local DY10”, which will tour various locations in the area later this year.
The group is made up of residents, volunteers and business owners from the three Kidderminster wards. A series of photography workshops have taken place at primary schools throughout the area in the run-up to the competition.
