A SHOWCASE of services for older people will be held at Kidderminster Town Hall.
The annual event offers information from a wide range of services and will take place in the music room next Thursday.
More than 30 organisations will be represented including Wyre Forest District Council services, local health services, tax advisers, pensions and benefits, information on the Pagets Association, Alzheimer’s Society, Arthritis Care, The Cinnamon Trust and Age UK.
There will also be a programme of taster sessions in the Corn Exchange including gentle exercise, a music sing-along and a cookery demonstration.
The event will be opened by the Mayor of Kidderminster John Campion at 9.30am and will run until 1.30pm.
Councillor Anne Hingley, Wyre Forest District Council’s cabinet member for place-shaping, said: “This is a great opportunity for local older residents to find out vital information that will help improve their health.
“The showcase attracts hundreds of people every year and we’ve received some fantastic feedback.”
Entry to the event is free. For more information call 01562 732519 or 07827 224641.
