NURSERY children in Wolverley will be performing at a Harvest festival service at St John the Baptist Church.
The youngsters from Sebright Cygnets Nursery, based at Wolverley Sebright Primary School, will be taking part in the autumnal service on Friday from 9.15am.
They will be performing a collective song for family, carers and churchgoers to give thanks to the land for this year’s crops.
The children have been busy learning about the work of farmers and the task of harvesting.
Joint nursery manager Wendy Anderson said: “The Harvest festival is an annual event on the nursery calendar. The children are excited about performing a song about the harvest and we have enjoyed exploring where our food comes from.”
