A MAN has appeared in court charged with burgling four sheds and garages in the same Kidderminster street and stealing property worth more than £3,000.

Daniel Leigh Cole, 24, of no fixed address, was brought before Worcester magistrates on Monday charged with burgling a garage in Roden Avenue on January 7 this year and stealing Hunter Wellington boots worth a total of £3,000.

He also appeared charged with three counts of burgling garden sheds, from which a Specialized Rockhopper mountain bike and tools including shovels and a saw were taken. All the stolen property has since been recovered by police.

Cole, who was arrested and charged on Sunday, was released by the court on bail with conditions including a 7pm to 7am curfew and residency at an address in Milford Haven, Wales. His next appearance will be at Kidderminster Magistrates Court on April 1, 2014.
