A STOURPORT girl will be taking the plunge when she skydive s on her 18th birthday in memory of her grandfather this weekend.
Natalie Apted will be taking to the sky today in aid of Prostate Cancer UK after her grandfather Eric Shiels lost his battle with the disease.
She said: “If I could make just one wish for my 18th bir thday it would be for my granddad to be here to celebrate it with me .
“I can’t have my wish – so I thought it would be fitting to celebrate my 18th birthday by doing a sky dive for Prostate Cancer UK in Grandad’s memory .
“That way, I might be able to help some other grandads be there for their grandaughters’ 18th bir thdays .”
