WYRE Forest District Council has successfully supported Terry Livesey Photography to relocate from premises affected by the new Hoobrook Link Road.

The business will now move into its adjacent Hoobrook Enterprise Centre, enabling the successful business to carry on trading in Wyre Forest.

Terry Livesey ran his business at the Ashlane Centre on the Worcester Road for four years and has recently moved into new premises, approximately 100 metres away, at the Council’s own Hoobrook Enterprise Centre.

Mr Livesay said: “It’s always daunting to think of moving your business once it is established, but as a move was on the cards because of the new link road, I am really pleased with the way things have turned out.

“The new premises are larger and are well suited to the demands of our growing business. The added benefit for me is that they are just around the corner from my previous office so my customers will not have to travel far to find me.

“The regeneration team at Wyre Forest District Council have been supportive and helpful, showing a practical understanding of our needs and concerns. As our new premises are owned and operated by the Council, I feel reassured to have them as a landlord.”

Councillor John Campion, cabinet member for planning and regeneration, said: “We are pleased to have been able to help Terry Livesey with the successful relocation of his business with minimum disruption. As a Council we always try to go the extra mile to help our local businesses and we are pleased to have found a win-win solution on this occasion.

“We are continuing to liaise with the other businesses affected by the new link road so that they too can be relocated within the area.”
