TRAVEL agent branches in Stourport and Franche have been shortlisted in the 2015 British Travel Awards.

The Midcounties Co-operative Travel branches will be fighting off stiff competition from across the UK to be crowned Best Regional Travel Agency and Best Travel Retailer for Customer Service.

Ellen Reynolds, branch manager at Stourport, said: “To be shortlisted by such well-respected industry awards for a second year is a real achievement.

“We pride ourselves on offering customer service that goes the extra mile and offer tailored services to help meet customers’ needs.

“We aim to be the leading independent travel retailer in the UK with co-operative values at its core.”

The winners, chosen by the public who have until September 30 to cast their votes, will be announced at the BTA Gala Awards Dinner in London on Wednesday, November 25.

Lorraine Barnes Burton, BTA’s chief executive, said: “The British Travel Awards are the largest consumer voted programme in the UK.

“Good luck to Midcounties Co-operative Travel – it must urge all of its happy customers to cast their votes.”

Midcounties Co-operative Travel is the largest independent co-operative in the UK and it was one of the Best Travel Retailer for Customer Service winners last year.
