A WOMAN married the paramedic that brought her dad back to life after he collapsed from cardiac arrest in a Bewdley street while walking his dogs.

Sam Billett first met Mike Horton when he arrived in an ambulance to treat her dad, Colin Billett, after he had a heart attack and went into cardiac arrest four years ago.

Mr Billett was technically dead for two minutes. After he was brought back, he was taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital, where he was given further treatment. The paramedic and Sam then bumped into each other as Mike came to check on the patient. He gave Sam his number so she could call him with updates on his condition, but when they got chatting they made plans to meet up at a pub and realised they liked each other.
