THE diverse talents of Kidderminster Art Society members will be on display in the town’s library until December.
The Art Society’s annual exhibition was opened by the Mayor of Kidderminster, Councillor Rose Bishop, on November 7, at Kidderminster Library Gallery.
Claire Spencer, vice president, said: “The Art Society is now in its’ 85th year and has been run by arts and enthusiastic artists being based at different venues over the years.
“At present, the society meets at Trimpley Village Hall every Thursday from 7.15pm.
“This year’s exhibition features the society’s exhibit in Bewdley Festival Duck House community arts project – a quirky piece made by member Kay Wood, made with art materials and paintings donated by the members.”
Also in attendance at the opening of the annual exhibition were representatives from Stourport and Bewdley Town Councils.
The exhibition will run until Christmas during normal Kidderminster Library opening hours.
