TEXAN quartet Nothing More will be pleasing fans in Birmingham by kicking off their four-date headline tour in the city.

Having gained an army of fans after touring with The Pretty Reckless and Halestorm, the UK leg of the band's tour, starting on Saturday at the O2 Academy 3, will be the first time the foursome have played a full headline set, despite it being their fourth time playing in Europe.

Vocalist Jonny Hawkins said: "This is our fourth trip to Europe, but the first time we will get to play a full headline set. It's also our last tour on this album before heading back into the studio. We are going to give everything we have on this one... Get ready Europe!"

Releasing their self-titled album last year, the lead single, This Is The Time (Ballast), saw this previously unknown band grabbing the number one slots at Active Rock Radio and Sirius Radio stateside. The video for the track has notched up more than 6.1 million views so far. The band were also nominated in the Best International Newcomer category at this years’ Kerrang Awards who recognized that the band were crucial to the future of rock music and how it flourishes in the same way that Tool, Deftones, and At the Drive-In were upon first debuting.

Nothing More will hit the stage at Birmingham's O2 Academy 3 on Saturday, before heading to Glasgow, Manchester, and ending their tour in London on December 8.
