A VINTAGE clothes shop in Stourport has backed a “perfect pin-up” to take home a coveted beauty contest title Annabelle Pritchard, aged 19, has been sponsored by Vintage Vanity, which is based in Bridge Street, in her quest to win Miss Black Country.

The current Bridgnorth Carnival Queen – where she now lives - has adopted a unique retro look similar to international model and entrepreneur Dita Von Teese and said the Stourport shop complemented her style.

The finals for Miss Black Country will be held on May 22 at the Copthorne Hotel near Merry Hill and, as part of her challenge, Annabelle – who was born in West Bromwich – is raising money for the Beauty With a Purpose charity that helps disadvantaged children.

Courtney Amelia, of Vintage Vanity, said: “Vintage Vanity is very pleased to be the official sponsor of Annabelle in her quest to become Miss Black Country 2016.

“Here at Vintage Vanity we pride ourselves on making true vintage clothing and accessories available to a wide range of customers.

“Annabelle has a perfect vintage pin up look that I'm sure will take her far in this competition and Vintage Vanity wish her all the best for this year’s event.”

Annabelle added: “I am delighted to have Vintage Vanity as my sponsor. This wonderful shop really suits my unique style which is pin up/retro. I style my look on Dita Von Teese as I think it is very feminine and suits all ages and sizes.”
