A DOCUMENTARY chronicling the murder of Kidderminster mother Louise Evans will be broadcast this month.

An episode of the documentary series, 999: Killer on the Line, by Crime and Investigation, will tell Louise’s story and the events leading up to her death.

The mother-of-three was murdered by her childhood ‘sweetheart’ Alan Evans at their Stoney Lane home on July 9, 2012.

Evans was 35 when he was jailed for life for murdering his wife in a callous and deliberate killing.

The prosecution said Evans assaulted her, pushing her or throwing her down the stairs.

At the end of last year, he was denied the right to appeal his conviction for the third time at a Court of Appeal hearing. Evans claimed to have come across the body of his wife at the bottom of the stairs when he was due to go to bed that night.

The documentary features Louise’s family and friends, including her parents Judy and Derek.

Louise’s mother, Judy, said: “The documentary is telling Louise’s story.

“It’s her side. We will never know what happened now.

“It was hard to watch the documentary, but it’s also nice in a way. I am happy with how the documentary has turned out.

“It is in Louise’s memory. We are all involved in it – my sons, neighbours and her friends.

“It’s all for Louise.”

The episode will be broadcast at 10pm on Monday, May 23, on three channels - Virgin Media 275, Sky 553 and Talk Talk 328.

A Facebook page was set up by Louise’s family and friends, ‘Louise’s Loving Memories’, to remember Louise and share their memories.

On the anniversary of her death, Louise’s family and friends remember her by gathering around her grave to toast to the 32 years they had Louise and release balloons into the air as a tribute.

Shortly after her death, Judy, said: “Louise was a brilliant wife and mother and she was so proud of the children who are the spitting image of her.”
