A BONFIRE became out of control in Stourport yesterday afternoon, spreading to a nearby workshop, storage tanks and trees.
Emergency services were alerted to the blaze on Hillary Road at around 3:35pm on Saturday, May 21.
Fire crews from Stourport, Kidderminster and Bewdley rushed to the scene, and described the area as "well alight".
Firefighters used four hose reel jets from two hydrants, three pumps and man power to tackle the fire, which had since spread to the surrounding yard and vegetation.
It took over an hour for crews to defeat the blaze.
No one was reported injured.
