POLICE are appealing for Kidderminster residents' help in tracing a missing 61-year-old man.

Keith Knights, of Chester Road North, was reported missing on Wednesday, August 30.

He was last seen on Chester Road North, near to the Land Oak traffic lights, at around 5.30pm on August 29, and has not returned home or been seen since.

West Mercia Police officers are growing increasingly concerned for Keith's health and well-being.

Keith is described as being white, around 5ft 6inches tall, of an average build and walks with a hunched posture. He has grey hair with a tinge of blonde, which is usually worn swept back.

He is known in the area for wearing light coloured clothing.

He was last seen wearing a light grey or beige jacket with baggy pockets and cream coloured trousers, described as chinos.

Another recent sighting describes him as wearing a lime green bomber style jacket and jeans, with trainers.

West Mercia Police don't currently have a photo of Keith - but officers hope the description is distinctive enough for the public to recall seeing him.

Investigating officer, Inspector Lisa Duncan, said: "After conducting extensive enquiries, we are still unclear as to where Keith currently is and are keen to locate him to ensure he is safe and well.

"We are appealing to the public in the hope that someone may have seen him or may recognise him from the description and may have information on his location."

West Mercia Police is urging anyone who has seen Keith, or a man matching his description to call 101, quoting incident reference number 196S of August 30.
