A MAN was rescued from an underground river tunnel in Kidderminster this morning (Saturday).
Crews from Kidderminster, Droitwich and Worcester fire stations worked with West Midlands Ambulance Service's hazardous area response team to get the man out of the River Stour at 12:40am.
A Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said a rescue sled and basket stretcher was used during the rescue operation.
