SOUL star Tito Jackson was the celebrity guest in Kidderminster today (Wednesday, May 9) after taking a trip on Severn Valley Railway.
The singer-songwriter and member of legendary Motown band The Jackson 5 confessed a love of trains following his ride into town.
He joined the railway at Bridgnorth and Tito and his team got comfortable in first-class before jumping on the footplate of Bradley Manor on arrival at Kidderminster.
He said: "I love the trains, they're such massive feats of engineering, and the Severn Valley is beautiful. I'll be visiting again for sure.β
Having had a swing on the shovel and tried the driver's hat on for size, Tito sampled Kidderminster Refreshment Room's finest sandwiches before heading back to Bridgnorth with coffee in hand.
A spokesman for SVR said: βIt's not every day you have a member of The Jackson 5 taking a ride on a steam train - we want you back!β
