OLDER people in Wyre Forest are being encourage to keep on learning as part of an event highlighting services open to them.
Showcase of Services for Older People will be held at Kidderminster Town Hall on Thursday, July 5 from 9.30am to 1.30pm, as part of Wyre Forest District Council’s 5 Ways to Wellbeing campaign.
There will also be free advice and information on a wide range of topics including healthy living, finances, benefits, staying safe and lots more.
Councillor Chris Rogers, cabinet member for housing, health and well-being at Wyre Forest District Council, said: “We would like more people, including older people, to get involved with our 5 Ways to Wellbeing campaign.
“During June and July we’ve been focussing on ‘keep learning’ and in August and September we will be discovering the ways we can ‘Give’ which can help our wellbeing too.”
Entrance is free and free refreshments will also be served.
