QUAKERS - Tucked away at the end of High Street is a 300-year-old Meeting House where Quakers still meet for worship every Sunday. It's a redbrick timbered building in a peaceful location and is one of the town's hidden architectural gems.

To find out more about Quakers and visit this building, it will be open between 11am and 3pm on Saturday, November 17.

Visitors will be able to find out more about what Quakers believe in and see the inside of the building. The building is not often open to visitors, so all are welcome.

HORTICULTURE SOCIETY - A visit to Highgrove proved popular and on the night of the autumn mini show Anne Mace, Mayor of Bewdley presented the cups won at the one day vegetable, flower and floral art show held in August followed by a harvest supper with entertainment by Banjax, a talented folk duo.

In November, Ken Whittaker will give a talk on a garland for Christmas'.

Members meet at Wribbenhall Community Centre, Shaw Hedge Road, Bewdley at 7.35pm. Refreshments included.

ALL SAINTS' AND WRIBBENHALL TOGETHER - On October 22, a number of people came and talked to Roger from Cross Roads Caring for Carers in the morning and likewise in the afternoon when Linda Hayden of Hayden Estates passed on advice.

On Monday between 10.30am and 12.30pm, Worcestershire Pre-school Alliance will offer advice and ideas to overcome the difficult times, and develop the skills needed to cope with younger children.

From 1.30pm to 3.30pm, Shelly from the adoption and fostering team will be available to answer questions. For details, call Barbra on 07891 040202.
