A BEWDLEY businessman has named his prize-winning racehorse after his favourite curry house.
Nick Shutts, chief executive of specialist food retail chain, Julian Graves, has called his new 15-hand colt Vhujon, after the restaurant on Load Street.
He said: "I was looking for a name for a racehorse I had recently bought and thought Vhujon sounded perfect - spicy with a fiery pace to it."
Vhujon won his first outing at Bath, came first in another race at Salisbury and second last month in a prestigious meet at Redcar. He also competed at Doncaster last Saturday.
Razu Miah, co-owner of Vhujon curry house, was pleased to discover a horse had been named after his restaurant.
He said: "Nick has given us a photo of the horse which we have put up in the restaurant.
"We are very happy Vhujon is winning races and many of our diners have been betting on him so they are happy too."
