A SPECIAL Hallowe'en wedding featured a black wedding dress, "blood red" bridesmaid gowns, plenty of red roses and guests dressed in red and black.
Tracey Watkins, 25, of Queen Elizabeth Road, Kidderminster, married Ben Noden, 21, at St Cassian's Church in Chaddesley Corbett yesterday in the Hallowe'en-themed wedding.
The new Mrs Noden said: "I wanted to wear black as we both love black. Neither of us are Goths. We just like something a little different.
She added: "When I asked the vicar if I could wear black I don't think he was too surprised, considering we were asking to get married on Hallowe'en. "
Chief bridesmaid, Tracy Smith, 37, said: "I had never been to a Hallowe'en wedding before. It was unusual and exciting.
"It went brilliantly and we all had a lovely time. There was a great turnout and the bride was really happy."
The wedding was followed by a Hallowe'en party at Wolverley Memorial Social Club, with fancy dress, sprayed red pumpkins and red and black balloons.
