DROITWICH Olympic goal medallist Matt Richards did not know whether to snigger or blush in front of millions of BBC viewers.
The victorious Team GB swimmer is the subject of a viral TikTok video which has been viewed more than 36,000 times on Twitter alone after seasoned presenter Clare Balding fired out unintended innuendo.
“Honestly, your third leg was just phenomenal," came the punchline.

Team-mate Tom Dean got the joke and briefly directed a knowing glance Matt’s way but they both just about avoided eye contact and full-on laughter live on air.
It came after the Worcestershire hero played a part of Britain's first 4x200m freestyle relay victory at the Olympics since 1908.
They took gold in the men's 4x200m freestyle relay (6:58.58) thanks to a mammoth effort from the 18-year-old who grew up attending Bishop Perowne College and training at both Droitwich Leisure Centre and then Worcester Swimming Club.
